The EV Technology Center at the Alabama Robotics Technology Park provides hands-on, industry-driven training in electric vehicle manufacturing, high-voltage systems, battery technology, diagnostics, and advanced production processes. Designed in collaboration with automotive manufacturers, suppliers, educators, and workforce partners, the center prepares both new and experienced workers for the changing needs of Alabama industry.

As automotive manufacturing transitions toward electrification, Alabama companies need workers who understand both the fundamentals of electric vehicles and the technologies used to manufacture them. The EV Technology Center supports this transition through practical training aligned with the needs of automakers, suppliers, and the growing EV supply chain. Programs begin with foundational electrical, safety, and manufacturing skills and expand into specialized applications using advanced training systems and production-level equipment.
Training at the EV Technology Center combines instructor-led classroom learning with guided online content, group discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on laboratory exercises. Participants apply what they learn using real components, advanced training systems, and production-level equipment in a controlled training environment.
