The class consists of four parts with the first being an introduction to RFID. This will start with the beginnings of RFID in world war 2 to its present use in omnichannel suppliers. The second part will be the use of T&W tower management system and its use in these suppliers. The third part is the TIS go software and its handheld options and use. The last section will be a hands on demonstration of the RFID cell at the RTP. Each section will consist of a lecture and a pass/fail test. Successful completion of each section will result in a certification in RFID Basics.

To learn the basics of inventory management using RFID readers and scanners. The course syllabus consists of:
o 1 – RIFD Overview – approximately 2 hours plus test time of 30 minutes
o 2 – TIS Software – approximately 2 hours plus test time of 2 hours
o 3 – TIS-Go Software -approximately 30 minutes plus test time of 20 minutes
o 4 – In Training Cell use of knowledge gained in the training course – approximately 1 hour
