AIDT is pleased to announce a role expansion for Kevin Taylor, AIDT Assistant Director of Recruitment and Training effective immediately.
Taylor’s role is being expanded from overseeing projects in Central Alabama to taking on projects from Birmingham north. He will now be responsible for Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, First Solar, the Alabama Robotics Technology Park, and overseeing all projects in North Alabama. Kevin will continue overseeing AIDT projects in the Birmingham area including MBUSI ( Mercedes Benz U.S. International) in Vance and HDMA (Honda Development and Manufacturing of America) in Lincoln.
Taylor has been with AIDT since 1993 and has served in many roles before being promoted to the executive management team in 2017. “I’m excited to support another prospering region, North Alabama. This is an additional opportunity to continue our efforts to contribute to the growth of the state,” he stated.
Taylor, along with AIDT Executive Director Ed Castile and Bobby Jon Drinkard, AIDT Training Manager, will assist state and local economic developers with prospect company meetings and commitments.
