This course introduces the basic fundamentals of hydraulics and pneumatics systems. Participants are introduced to standard symbols, pumps, control valves, control assemblies, actuators, FRL, maintenance procedures, and switching and control devices.
Basic computer skills are required. Electrical Safety Knowledge is preferred
Topics covered include basic functions and physical properties of complete hydraulic and pneumatic systems, such as power sources, reservoirs, pumps, compressors, lines, valves and actuators; troubleshooting techniques and strategies to identify, localize, and correct malfunctions; and safety and systematic preventative maintenance.
