ArcTool Operation and Programming The course covers the tasks and procedures that an operator, technician, engineer or programmer needs to set up and program a FANUC America ArcTool Software Package. Course Code: J2P0410 Course Objectives: Students successfully completing this course will be able to: Safely power up the robot from a complete shutdownManipulate the robot using the teach pendantSetup and test robot movement parameters for a given work cell and torchSetup ArcTool for specific weld applicationsCreate and test weld programs for a given weld taskEdit weld programs in teach modeSetup and save to file management devices Manipulate I/O in program logic and real logicMaster and calibrate the robotRecommended safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises.The course consists of lectures, demonstrations, and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned. In addition to lab exercises, a pretest and posttest are used to measure mastery of objectives. Audience: This course is intended for the person who must set up and record a program on a R-30iA or R-30iB controlled robot with an ArcTool software package. Prerequisites: NoneProper clothing is required: NO jewelry, tank tops, shorts or open toed shoes.
